GAME OF THE ROUND

Couple of options, but hard to go past the grand final rematch. The Defenestrators find themselves in 6th place – an unusual placing for them. The Soldiers are coming off their first loss for the season.
A win here for the Defenestrators would reassert themselves as a club right alongside the Sparkles in the ‘chief-competition-for-the-soldiers’ stakes. A loss here…. well, a loss here wouldn’t mean much. The season is still young. There is much ladder jostling to come.
SNEAKY INTERESTING MATCHUP

The Vipers are running real hot or cold in recent weeks. Two scores below 1650, with a whopping 1899 sandwiched in the middle. Which Vipers outfit will we see this weekend?
Threat Level Midnight have cooled off after a strong start. They were unfortunate to lose last week against the Defenestrators, and would be keen to solidify their place in the top 6. Both the Devils (and perhaps even MSHB… ? Who coincidently face off this week in another sneaky interesting matchup…) would have designs on 6th place. For that to happen though, someone would have to tumble out. Could a loss in this game be the start of that slide?
STRAY OBSERVATION
Is Tim English the best fantasy player? And would he appreciate playing with a full squad?
ELIMINATOR
We’re getting to the pointing end now. After a hot start Threat Level Midnight had their first stumble in round 4, and paid the price in the eliminator.
Last week it was MaherShalalHashBaz that fell with a 1635, only 8 points short of the Vipers.
